ECHO ONE

The Bay
Routes 1. 2. 3 & 4 use the abseil at the top of route 1.
Routes 5 & 6 abseil from a fixed chain.
Echo One - main buttress.
All the routes use the one abseil at the top of the crag . If others are on the  routes below abseils can be made the other belays which have bolts for this purpose.

Walk offs. A scramble back down the east ridge can be made through a mass of vegetation or  go to the castle and around the back of the whole mountain.

Placa Imaculada. All the routes from this buttress are by abseil from in place chains.
Route 1 . 3 and 4 Traverse down hill right to the top of route number 5 and use those abseils.
Route 9 Abseil back directly down the wall.
Route 20. Abseil direct ( spectacularly) direct to the belay of Raven and then down again  or climb easily right and make for the abseil of route 10.

Walk offs. You can scramble down from the very top by the west ridge You can also scramble down the gully behind the wall itself which is very vegetated. Two hand rails have  been left here for emergencies.
