produced by PCS SUMMER ROCK CLIMBING IN CORNWALL Itinerary and dates Summer Courses SUMMER EQUIPMENT LIST Essential Items: Torch: Useful for any situation. Sleeping Bag: For use in Chalet Rucksack: Needed to carry your equipment and clothing. There are no long walks but you do need something to carry your things in. Sun Cream & Glasses: Protect your skin and eyes from the sun which can burn quickly Camera & Films: The Photo's you take will amaze you. BOOTS: You will need to bring your own pair of ROCK CLIMBING BOOTS for the summer climbing courses For beginners to the sport, many Climbing Walls and Shops have second hand boots advertised for sale, much cheaper than buying brand new ones, so hunt around. You will also need LIGHT WEIGHT MOUNTAIN BOOTS or APPROACH SHOES for walking to the routes. You can use stiff ones if this is what you have. CLIMBING EQUIPMENT: We do provide Harnesses, Belaying Equipment and Ropes. We do not provide Rock Boots. Bring any equipment you already have, as we may be able to show you how best to use it in the future. CLOTHING: British summers are unpredictable so be prepared for almost anything! Shorts and T-shirts, a Track suit or similar loose clothing is excellent. Bring swim wear if you wish. Some type of warm clothing, thermal underwear and a waterproof jacket.
